Call for Papers 2024

This year we use the web-based platform ‚EasyChair‘ to manage the conference. The call for abstracts is also available under the given hyperlink (https://easychair.org/cfp/3D-ISA) together with a link for submission of the abstracts. Of course, it is also possible to send us the abstracts as usual via mail to (3D-ISA@gfai.de).

As usual we provide the authors a possibility to decide between a peer-reviewed and not reviewed version of the conference manuscript. The review process will be based on formal and scientific standards including two independent reviewers for each manuscript. We beg the authors to give us a notification during abstract submission whether a peer-review is desired or not. Manuscripts without review will be checked formally and also published in the conference proceedings.

Abstract-Submission

The authors are invited to submit an abstract for a poster or presentation with a maximum of two pages via eMail (3D-ISA@gfai.de) or the ‚easychair‘ portal to the workshop committee until the 15.09.2024. Each abstract will be checked for format and content. After confirmation of the abstracts (01.10.2024) each author is invited to submit a complete manuscript (German or English with a maximum of 5 Din A4 pages including figures and tables) until the 31.10.2024. The manuscripts are peer-reviewed depending on the authors joice. After notification of the authors (02.12.2024) about the review decision of their manuscripts it is expected to receive a printable reworked paper version until the 31.12.2024 which will subsequently be published.

Poster-Session

A poster session will be organized as well. Abstract submissions will be considered until the 15.09.2024. The authors will be notified until the 01.10.2024 and then the complete submission (poster and short manuscript) will be expected until 31.10.2024 (including a snaphot of the poster and a maximum of three additional text pages). After notification at the 02.12.2024 the reworked print versions can be submitted to the workshop committee until the 31.12.2024.

Printed Manuscripts

The accepted manuscripts will be published in a conference proceeding (format A4, maximum 5 coloured pages including figures and tables). After the workshop took place the proceedings can be ordered at the GFaI for a small editing fee. All presenters receive a free copy of the printed version. A digital version of the proceedings will be available online on the workshop webpage including a separate IBSN number.

Exhibition

A small exhibition is organized. Please submit proposals for presentations to the workshop organization.
