Founded in 1990, GFaI started as a small research association and since then, has developed to an established, global operating research institute.
Promoting education in the field of applied computer science is a focus of our activities.

The general assembly is the heart of the association. It is composed of personal members and representatives of member companies as well as institutions. The general assembly of GFaI meets in Berlin once a year. Persons, companies, universities and other scientific institutions are all welcome to become members.
